RR Donnelley Introduces iPhone Application as First in a Series That Brings Innovative Offerings to Mobile Devices
By BusinessWire CHICAGO, BUSINESS WIRE --

R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NASDAQ:RRD) today announced that the first in a series of mobility applications has debuted on the iPhone. The application brings mobility users the ability to shop for, select and purchase items from RR Donnelley's Socrates line of standard personal and small business documents. The company will follow with additional smart phone applications and enhanced mobility-enabled access to its proprietary CustomPoint and RightProspectus applications.

'Our online resources are already integrated into our customers' workflows,' said John Paloian, RR Donnelley's Chief Operating Officer. 'For example, nearly one million users have access to RR Donnelley's on demand print portal, CustomPoint, and our Financial Services offering helps clients meet regulatory requirements and deliver a range of investment and capital markets products. These new mobile capabilities will put these resources into the palms of our customers' hands.'

These new and enhanced mobility applications continue to expand the availability of RR Donnelley's proprietary service offerings. For example, the company's RightProspectus application is a convenient online compliance tool for mutual fund and variable annuity companies, broker/dealers and clearing firms. The product offers a better way to access compliance documents and to track the print, e-delivery and receipt of investor communications - including Prospectuses, Reports, Statements of Additional Information (SAIs) and supplements. RR Donnelley's CustomPoint suite is the leading print management portal, already accessed by a number of Fortune 500 organizations to manage communications around the world.

'RR Donnelley is a 24/7 360-degree resource to our customers,' stated Ken O'Brien, Chief Information Officer. 'Our delivery solutions are expanding to involve multiple media channels and device platforms. We will continue to develop and roll out mobility applications and access across the breadth of our product and service lines.'

To download the company's initial application visit the iPhone applications store and search under 'Socrates' or 'RR Donnelley'.
